It has been a long, good day
Filled with work and little play
As most know play to be
But for me today has been
A day of productivity
Mixed with fun because of work I love
And the added satisfaction of Petunia near at hand
All day long I looked forward to this moment here and now
To sit, relax, and ponder
Letting thoughts listlessly wander
To put aside responsibility
But I pray dear God, no matter what
To include You in my busy-ness, in listlessness, in thought, and word, and deed
And keep you closer still, as close as breath could be
